The Power of Chiropractic

Dr. Chris Quigley, ChiropractorI became a chiropractor because two chiropractic doctors related to me the power of chiropractic in helping people get well naturally, without any dangerous drugs. After 20 years in practice, I can truly appreciate their passion!

Our Philosophy

What makes our practice special is that we are specialists in giving spinal corrections vs. just getting you to feel better. We correct the causes of problems vs. just managing the effects. We set goals and objectives in your care and we evaluate your progress on a regular basis to see how well you are progressing.

We appreciate the fact that health can only come from within and that your body is an amazing organism that when functioning fully, can handle most health issues with spectacular results.

Dr. Chris is a member of the Beacon Hill Civic Association, past president of the Beacon Hill Business Association, the immediate past secretary/treasurer of the International Chiropractors Association. He is the former host of the "Hour to Health" radio show, broadcast here in Boston.  A nationally known speaker he has lectured at many local businesses on different health and wellness topics including Massachusetts General Hospital, EMC Corp, Arnold Worldwide, State Street Bank, Genzyme, Harvard Medical School, New York Chiropractic College, Fitcorp, Draper Labs, Emerson College and Sufflok University.

Personally

Dr. Chris and his wife have two children. A former Beacon Hill resident for his first 10 years in practice, he loves the neighborhood. He is a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and currently studies here in Boston.  An avid sports fan, he also enjoys in cycling, soccer and baseball. Dr. Chris loves to spend time with his family, especially participating in outdoor activities.

Dr. Quigley with Lance Armstrong's chiropractor, Dr. Jeff SpencerDr. Chris follows through on his own health program. Like other top performers, * Tom Brady, Tiger Woods, and Madonna, he receives adjustment once per week to stay in tip top shape. He either takes a martial arts class, weight trains or does cardio weekly. He takes Omega 3 essential fatty acids and several other nutritional supplements to help keep his internal workings running at top efficiency. Dr. Chris has only taken 1 sick day in 22 years of practice and he attributes it to chiropractic and his wellness program.

Keeping with the fact that health comes from within, his 11 year old daughter, Maggie, has never taken an aspirin, antibiotic or had a shot. My son, Christian has taken a pain reliever 4 times in his life, 3 baseball injuries and once got his finger caught in car door. They have missed only 4 days of school in combined in their entire lives.

Enough about me. I look forward to meeting you in person and learning how we may be of service to you. Give our office a call, or email me and let’s arrange a time to explore your options.

The Doctors of Boston Wellness Group Asks some important questions of interest to Boston residents - Chiropractor Boston The Doctors of Boston Wellness Group Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
What's a side effect?
It may sound like a bonus; something extra, but chiropractors know it should more accurately called an "unintended effect," and "unwanted effect" or in some cases an "adverse effect." A pill can't come close to matching your body's ability to create and deliver the essential compounds it needs. That's when it's important to make sure your nervous system is working correctly—the purpose of chiropractic care!
